Is ‘The Bachelor’ off the market?

05/27/09 12:05 AM EDTMany saw them Monday atop the Lions Club Float in the National Memorial Day Parade, but it seems like Navy Lt. and “Bachelor” star Andy Baldwin and Olympic gymnast Dominique Dawes may be getting down.
Spotted Thursday night in a back corner booth at Martin’s Tavern in Georgetown, the two were clearly enjoying each other’s company — Baldwin squeezed next to Dawes on the same side of the booth, arm flung around her neck.
Calling it a night around 11:30 p.m., the two then left together in Dawes’ black Lexus sport utility vehicle.
Appearing on behalf of the Lions Club wasn’t their first joint celebrity appearance. On May 18, the two led kids in physical fitness exercises for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Childhood Overweight and Obesity Prevention Initiative. They also were each other’s date to the G.I. Film Festival a few weeks back. These types of charity acts no doubt also landed the two of them this year Washington Life Magazine’s “250 Most Influential People under 40” List.
Baldwin didn’t respond to a request for comment, but with a rumor also circulating that he calls his girlfriend “D” or “DD,” we’re thinking she’s the recipient of his final rose.
