Martin's Tavern
has stood as a stellar example of the place for taverns in Washington history. A Georgetown restaurant with leaded glass entry vestibule, Martin's Tavern continues to prepare the simple, first rate fare that has kept customers and friends coming back for over sixty years: great steaks, chops, chicken, the freshest fish in town and the best in locally grown vegetables. The 100-seat restaurant has a beautiful wooden bar seating 18 with premium stock and select wines. Our beautiful polished wooden bar features Tiffany Lamps and original antique ceramic and brass taps. A large outdoor patio opens every spring. A private room with seating for 17 is available for private parties.
